Hey guys - no post today. I won't get into all the details because I feel like then it sounds like me whining, but it's been a very interesting week. I'm hoping to get something out sometime this week, but I also have a craaaaaap ton of homework to do (my cultural diversity teacher is trying to kill me with readings) so, that has to get done first (sorry, but I'm paying to go to school, and not paying to do this so...)

HOPEFULLY there will be something by the end of the week. No promises though.

Also - I know someone wrote in the comments about another blog they were working on, it sounded interesting and I wanted to add it to the blog roll, but I forgot and for the life of me cannot remember which post the commented on. If that was you, please post your link again! And if you know of/write a blog, please list it too. Our link list is getting kind of short...

The post that I think you are referring to is by Shannon ...

"Hey ladies,

I have started a blog basically to make fun of the frustrations of dating in general. I tend to have a unique ability to attract crazy, needy men. Not sure why! So if you are looking for a place to commiserate after a bad date or need to remind yourself that your husband/SO leaving his dirty underwear around isn't all that bad! then come on over! My stories of dates gone wrong are more effective than marriage counseling. I don't have a posting schedule. I usually post when a notable encounter or observation comes up. I generally try to get a post up once a week and am working on a new post for today. Also, submissions are welcome!

That's me! I will warn you I've been having technical difficulties with the site for the past week. There is a post I have written currently being held hostage until I can get the site to open for me to post it. Hopefully they've got everything sorted out this week. But there should be enough posts up to keep you busy ( aka horrified these people actually exist) for a while.

Thank you! If I can whip out my cultural diversity assignment tomorrow then I plan on taking a day off and working on the blog. Sorry, I just think the amount of work is insane (four online readings - which aren't short - four chapters, two assignments, and a quiz. That's ONE class, and the teacher is crazy anal. Ha, welcome to college, I guess?)

PHEWWW!!!

I just finished re reading this entire blog. Laura I must say I really really love this blog!! Definitely a few laugh out loud moments and crying moments. Thanks again for writing it :).

I got confused by a few things that I only notice as I read back.

When they went camping before Jason and Jacob were deployed the first time it was said that Jarren and Drew slept together, it was actually said. Something along the lines of she asked Drew "So because we have slept together does this mean we are together". But later Drew says Ella is his first.

And I never noticed it but when and why exactly did Matt move out? It was never discussed at all, one moment Matt and Ella are living together and the next she gets back from her break up with Seth trip to Cali and Matt is living with Drew....

Sorry not trying to be picky LOL I am honestly just wondering. It doesn't take away from my love of the blog. I loved re reading it because it has been so long since I first started reading it that I had forgotten about some things and it was exciting all over again.

Cant wait to see what happens next :) :)

Ha, Lee, yeaaaah when I wrote that first part a couple other people mentioned that he had slept with Jarren. It was really a whoopsie on my part. I have not the greatest memory. I should go back and fix it, but I'm kind of lazy, lol.

As for the second thing - I figured it was just kind of inferred that Matt moved out with Drew since staying at Ella's place was supposed to be temporary.

You'll have to forgive me on some mess ups. My memory sucks, and the Apathy file is in like, 8 different places (OK, not 8, but one part is on my old lap top which blew up, another part is on another lap top that were renting, another part was on my lap top but now on a hard drive because my new lap top had issues and my husband had to wipe it clean, and then part of it is on my husband's lap top that I was using while my lap top was on the fritz) so it's not always so easy to go back and check. But I'm glad you found me! :-)

Haha I too have started reading from the beginning! There has been so much that I have forgotten so it feels like rediscovering old friends. Laura you are an excellent writer and I hope whatever career you pursue you are able to put your creative talents to use! Being in school with two babies is a lot of hard work! Hang in there and just think of us as your online support system. You will get there! Also, I love this recent post. It's so true that the best way to happiness is to let go of the things you can't control. And I love that she is going to Colorado!! I'm actually moving there next year. Denver bound!
